Do you take my insurance?
We’re in-network with many insurance plans. Call the office nearest you, and our team will help you check your coverage before your visit.
What if I don’t have dental insurance?
Ask about our in-house Membership Club. It’s designed to help patients without insurance save on their care. CareCredit financing is also available.
I’m nervous about the dentist. Can you help?
Absolutely. Let us know how you feel, and we’ll go at your pace. Sedation options are available to help you relax.
Are you accepting new patients?
Yes. We welcome new patients at all 4 of our offices: Hollywood Park, Leon Springs, Potranco and Pleasanton. New patients can start with a $179 exam, X-rays and cleaning. Call the office nearest you or book online.
How often should I visit the dentist?
Most people do well with a checkup and cleaning every six months. If you have gum disease or other concerns, your dentist may suggest visits more often. Book your next visit online or call the office nearest you.
What is the difference between a family dentist and a general dentist?
A general dentist cares for adults, and a family dentist cares for the whole family, from kids to grandparents. At My Hometown Dentist we see children from 6 months old, teens and adults, so your family can use one dental team.
Do you take Delta Dental or MetLife?
We're in-network with many insurance plans, and Delta Dental and MetLife are on our insurance list. Plans vary, so call the office nearest you and our team will check your coverage before your visit.
What services do you offer?
We offer checkups and cleanings, fillings, crowns and bridges, root canals, extractions including wisdom teeth, dentures, dental implants, Invisalign and braces, whitening and veneers, TMJ care and emergency visits, with sedation available. Most care happens in our own offices with no referral to an outside specialist.
Is there a dentist open on Saturdays or after work?
Yes. Leon Springs and Potranco are open Saturdays from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., and all 4 offices have appointments as early as 7 a.m. or as late as 7 p.m. on some weekdays. Hours vary by day, so check the office cards or call.
Does the $179 special include gum disease treatment?
No. It includes a comprehensive exam by the doctor, any needed X-rays and a professional cleaning. It does not include periodontal therapy.
