Front staff is super friendly! Dentist & assistant we’re both super sweet and made me feel very comfortable! Dentist did root canal and didn’t feel a thing at all! If you don’t have a dentist I would definitely recommend them!
Dr. Christopher Moore Prioritizes Patient Education
Dr. Chris Moore is a native Texan. He has been in private dental practice here since 1992, and after recently stepping out of dental practice ownership, he is pleased to join My Hometown Dentist. He enjoys treating patients of all ages and strives to maintain long relationships with every member of the family. Dr. Moore believes that treatment options must be tailored to the individual, carefully considering each person’s specific needs. He firmly believes that good oral health is one of the keys to maintaining good overall health and that patient education is important to success.
Dr. Moore earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Biomedical Science from Texas A&M University. He earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree in 1992 from The University of Texas Dental Branch in Houston, graduating seventh in his class. He is a member of OKU, the national Dental Honor Society, and he received several additional awards for his academic performance. Dr. Moore has an appointment as an Adjunct Assistant Professor in the Department of Internal Medicine at The University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston, Texas. He is a member of the American Academy of Implant Dentistry, the American Dental Association, the Texas Dental Association, and his local Dental Society.
Outside the office, Dr. Moore enjoys spending time with his family and dogs and is active outdoors. He is an avid cyclist and triathlete. He also loves to kayak, camp, and hike, and He volunteers his time as a Formula 1 and MotoGP race marshal.

This was my first visit, and although it was a rather long wait, the dentist was extremely apologetic and very appreciative of my patience. The office staff was very friendly and the hygienist offered me a water while I waited. Dr. Gomez was very thorough and helpful. She was nice enough to call the oral surgeon and make an appointment for me-they were able to take me right away. They didn’t even me charge me for my visit. I know my previous dentist would have! I will definitely be going back to get my teeth cleaned and will be sending my family there as well. I highly recommend them!

Okay, so now that I have had another appointment, I have come to the conclusion that this is the best dentist anyone could go to. I just had a routine cleaning done and I have to say she was so gentle I almost went to sleep! Thank you Hometown Dental, you guys are fantastic.

This was the most thorough cleaning and health check I’ve ever had. We’ve already scheduled our next appointment and will keep coming back. Jackie was helping her and was super nice too. The place is clean and the equipment looks very up-to-date.
