Front staff is super friendly! Dentist & assistant we’re both super sweet and made me feel very comfortable! Dentist did root canal and didn’t feel a thing at all! If you don’t have a dentist I would definitely recommend them!
Dr. Angela Gomez Enjoys Getting to Know Her Patients
Dr. Gomez attended The Ohio State University College of Dentistry where she obtained her Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree in 2015. Go Bucks! Originally from Bogota, Colombia, Dr. Gomez moved to San Antonio recently.
Prior to moving to Texas, Dr. Gomez practiced several years in Virginia, where her husband was stationed as a Dental Officer with the US Navy. Her greatest joy is getting to know her patients at a personal level while caring for their dental needs and the needs of their families across generations.
When not at work, Dr. Gomez enjoys catching up on her favorite TV shows and news, spending time outdoors, and exploring new places with her husband Philip and two children, Gabi and Sebastian.

This was my first visit, and although it was a rather long wait, the dentist was extremely apologetic and very appreciative of my patience. The office staff was very friendly and the hygienist offered me a water while I waited. Dr. Gomez was very thorough and helpful. She was nice enough to call the oral surgeon and make an appointment for me-they were able to take me right away. They didn’t even me charge me for my visit. I know my previous dentist would have! I will definitely be going back to get my teeth cleaned and will be sending my family there as well. I highly recommend them!

Okay, so now that I have had another appointment, I have come to the conclusion that this is the best dentist anyone could go to. I just had a routine cleaning done and I have to say she was so gentle I almost went to sleep! Thank you Hometown Dental, you guys are fantastic.

This was the most thorough cleaning and health check I’ve ever had. We’ve already scheduled our next appointment and will keep coming back. Jackie was helping her and was super nice too. The place is clean and the equipment looks very up-to-date.
