Front staff is super friendly! Dentist & assistant we’re both super sweet and made me feel very comfortable! Dentist did root canal and didn’t feel a thing at all! If you don’t have a dentist I would definitely recommend them!
Dr. Phillip D’Amico Cares About His Patients
Dr. Phillip D’Amico received his degree from The Ohio State University College of Dentistry in 2015. Originally from Cleveland, Ohio, Dr. D’Amico recently moved to the San Antonio area with his family.
Prior to moving to Texas, Dr. D’Amico served in the U.S. Navy as a Dental Officer and completed a one-year residency in Advanced General Dentistry. He was then assigned to serve as the Dental Officer aboard the amphibious assault ship USS SAN ANTONIO LPD 17. He deployed on the ship in 2016 and participated in missions across the Middle East and North Africa.
In his free time, Dr. D’Amico enjoys grilling, going on hikes with his wife Angela, watching mixed martial arts, and spending time with his two children, Gabi and Sebastian.

This was my first visit, and although it was a rather long wait, the dentist was extremely apologetic and very appreciative of my patience. The office staff was very friendly and the hygienist offered me a water while I waited. Dr. Gomez was very thorough and helpful. She was nice enough to call the oral surgeon and make an appointment for me-they were able to take me right away. They didn’t even me charge me for my visit. I know my previous dentist would have! I will definitely be going back to get my teeth cleaned and will be sending my family there as well. I highly recommend them!

Okay, so now that I have had another appointment, I have come to the conclusion that this is the best dentist anyone could go to. I just had a routine cleaning done and I have to say she was so gentle I almost went to sleep! Thank you Hometown Dental, you guys are fantastic.

This was the most thorough cleaning and health check I’ve ever had. We’ve already scheduled our next appointment and will keep coming back. Jackie was helping her and was super nice too. The place is clean and the equipment looks very up-to-date.
